Merge Products in GEM-BOOKS
Merging products and services removes duplicates from your system. For example, if you have created a product a second time by mistake, you can use this function to merge the two items.
Click on the Inventory > Products & Services menu. Select the product or service you wish to merge with another.
At the bottom of a product or service sheet, you'll see the button with the two arrows pointing towards each other. Click on this button.
In the next window, enter or search with the blue button to select the record you wish to merge with the current one. It's very important to note that this action is irreversible, so you need to be sure of what you're doing.
Click on Send.
After clicking on Send, a confirmation window opens with the following message: “Are you sure you want to merge this record?
This action is irreversible.” Click on Yes.
